Consignment Agreement
New Consignor
Welcome! We are so pleased that you want to become part of our shop.
Please read this entire agreement carefully before you sign. INITIAL your choice in parts 1 and 2. INITIAL the statement
in part 3. If anything is unclear, please ask for clarification. Here’s how it works:
When you bring your items into consign, we base our selections on what we believe our customers will buy and our own sales experience.
We set the prices, which are determined by the new retail price of the items and on current supply and demand.
We will display your items for 75 days, starting the day the inventory is put on the sales floor. The selling price may be reduced by 20%
after 30 days, 30% after 60 days, and by 50% after 70 days. Wedding dresses, designer bags and fur coat prices will not be reduced. These
items may be re-consigned 1 time. Clothing needing cleaning, laundering, or mending will not be accepted. All items are subject to a 15%
sale reduction at any time.
It is the responsibility of the consignor to maintain all records of consigned merchandise and to contact Design 2 Consign, LLC. for all
information on confirmation of sales, pick-ups and contract termination
Part 1: If during the inventory entry process and/or upon closer examination, items are found to be unacceptable or damaged, we will be
unable to consign them. Please select by initialing how you want us to dispose of them:
_____ Donate the items _____Email and I will pick them up within two days _____. I’ll call within a week for pick up.
Part 2: You have two pro t options from which to choose. Please select one by initialing:
_____ I will take my profit in store credit and receive 50% of the final selling price.
_____ I will take my profit in cash or cash and store credit and receive 40% of the final selling price. I may stop in for
money owed me at any time.
Part 3: Disposition of unsold Items: Please read and initial.
_____ I, consignor, understand that after 80 days from today unsold items become the property of Design 2 Consign and
may be donated, sold or otherwise disposed of. I understand that to reclaim my items I must call Design 2 Consign
within one week of the final sale date to make arrangements for pick up. Items pulled for return and not picked up within
two days become the property of Design 2 Consign.
By signing this Consignment Agreement, I understand and agree to all the above terms and certify that I own the items
brought in for consignment with all rights to sell such items. I attest to the authenticity of designer brands brought in for
consignment. I understand that Design 2 Consign assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to merchandise by fire,
theft, accident, or any other cause.
